A Sacred Spiritual Legacy Since 1576 AD

Khorki Darbar Sharif, located in Jashore, Bangladesh, is a sacred spiritual center with a legacy spanning over 440 years and eight generations of Sufi saints. The place was originally known as “Khirki” and later evolved into “Khorki”. It all began in 1576 AD when Hazrat Shah Syed Sultan Ahmad Rahmatullah Alaihi arrived from Yemen during the reign of Mughal Emperor Akbar.
Raja Shukdeb Singh Roy of Chachra, Jessore, granted him land, and this became the foundation of a spiritual dynasty that has nurtured the souls of countless devotees for over four centuries. The Darbar Sharif preserves the traditions of multiple Sufi orders and continues to serve as a beacon of spiritual light in Bengal.
From 1576 AD to the present day, the sacred lineage of Khorki Darbar Sharif has continued unbroken through eight generations of devoted Sufi saints.
